Universe Network, Inc. today announced an exclusive strategic partnership with InS3D. Under the agreement, InS3D will grant Universe exclusive, royalty-free usage and ownership of its stereoscopic 3D software and future technology, while serving as Universe’s exclusive stereoscopic 3D development team. The partnership marks a key milestone in the expansion of Universe Electronics Inc. and the broader Universe technology ecosystem.
The partnership brings InS3D founder Manu Laude and the technology he helped create into Universe's long-term strategy for immersive consumer electronics. Laude will serve as Partner and Chief Creative Officer of Universe InS3D while continuing his broader role as Head of Ecosystem Development for Universe Network. In those roles, he will help guide product design, creative development, software integration, developer standards, testing, launch readiness, and the expansion of stereoscopic experiences across Universe devices and platforms.
THE ORIGIN AND EVOLUTION OF INS3D
The origin of InS3D grew from Laude's work at the intersection of live entertainment, visual production, technology, and audience experience. After creating a company to develop new forms of live performance and visual presentation in 2007, Laude carried that same creative objective into software and consumer technology: to make digital experiences feel more dimensional, immediate, and engaging.
That vision became the foundation for InS3D, a software-development company created to build applications, games, websites, and platform technologies for conventional devices as well as stereoscopic 3D devices. Rather than treating 3D as a single visual effect, Laude and the InS3D development team approached it as an ecosystem requiring coordinated software, content, developer tools, distribution infrastructure, compatible hardware, and a practical user experience.
InS3D's technology roots date back at least to 2013, when its platform architecture was formally documented around an integrated S3D software system capable of enabling compatible devices to transition between traditional two-dimensional viewing and stereoscopic three-dimensional viewing. The platform was designed not only to display 3D content, but also to give developers and content creators the tools needed to build, publish, manage, distribute, and monetize stereoscopic applications, games, movies, and other digital experiences.
This broader architecture is what distinguishes InS3D from a stand-alone 3D screen or isolated application. It was conceived as an expandable platform through which hardware, software, developers, creators, and consumers could participate in the same immersive ecosystem.
"Manu is not simply bringing Universe a display concept. He is bringing years of creative thinking, software development, platform design, device integration, and a clear understanding of how immersive technology must work from the creator all the way to the end user," said Andre Freeman, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Universe Network. "That is exactly why we structured this as an exclusive, indefinite partnership. InS3D's software, developer tools, app-store infrastructure, and content environment now become the exclusive foundation for stereoscopic 3D across every Universe platform."
FROM A 3D FEATURE TO A CONNECTED 3D ECOSYSTEM
Universe plans to build upon the InS3D foundation through distinct Universe devices designed around stereoscopic 3D experiences. The Universe S3D devices will focus specifically on depth, realism, spatial presentation, and immersive viewing through compatible stereoscopic displays.
The goal is to make immersive 3D useful across everyday categories rather than limiting it to novelty entertainment. Potential applications include gaming, movies and streaming, education, medical and scientific visualization, architecture, engineering, product design, advertising, training, simulation, tourism, real estate, communications, and interactive government services.
Within Universe Streaming, InS3D can support new forms of immersive movies, concerts, sports, cultural programming, travel experiences, and original content. Within Universe Gaming, the technology can give developers another layer of visual depth and interaction. Within Universe AI, it can support intelligent content conversion, spatial interfaces, visualization, and the development of new immersive applications. Through the Universe App Store, developers can have a dedicated distribution path for both conventional applications and experiences optimized for Universe's proprietary hardware.
Universe also plans to explore the integration of its advanced battery technologies into future S3D devices. Longer operating time can be especially important for displays, gaming, streaming, visualization, and other processing-intensive experiences. The combination is intended to allow users to spend more time viewing, creating, learning, and interacting, with less time limited by charging or connectivity costs.
"The real value of S3D is not simply that an image can appear three-dimensional," Freeman added. "The value is that, through this exclusive partnership, Universe can connect the device, software, developer tools, app store, content, gaming, streaming, artificial intelligence, battery technology, and Wi-Fi into one experience — with InS3D building it for Universe alone. That is how an impressive technology becomes a platform people around the world can actually use."
For Laude, the partnership represents an opportunity to carry the original InS3D vision into a much larger technology and distribution environment.
"InS3D began with the belief that immersive technology should be more than a demonstration or a feature available to a limited audience," said Manu Laude, Founder of InS3D, Partner and Chief Creative Officer of Universe InS3D, and Head of Ecosystem Development for Universe Network. "We worked to create the software, tools, platform, and device foundation needed to support an entire stereoscopic ecosystem. This partnership let’s that work become the standard for stereoscopic 3D across Universe's communications, electronics, streaming, gaming, artificial intelligence, energy, and global distribution businesses."
This exclusive partnership represents another step in Universe Network's strategy to unite complementary proprietary technologies under one connected platform. Additional announcements concerning Universe InS3D devices, developer initiatives, content partnerships, prototypes, production, and planned market launches will be released as development progresses.

Universe Network Inc. is proud to announce the acquisition of Lawrence Hardge's groundbreaking battery and energy-management technology, bringing one of the industry's most talked-about energy innovations into the Universe ecosystem.
Hardge has spent more than three decades developing technologies intended to improve the performance of electrical equipment, batteries, and safety systems. His body of work includes more than 120 intellectual prototypes, patents, and trademarks, as well as Knock Out 360, a fire extinguisher developed for demanding fire-safety applications, including electric-vehicle fires.
His battery work grew from years of hands-on experimentation with electrical systems and existing battery platforms. In 2020, Hardge publicly introduced the system that became known as Black Box Technology, a battery-enhancement and energy-management system designed to work with an existing battery platform, capture and redirect usable energy, improve energy utilization, reduce heat stress, and extend operating time without requiring manufacturers to replace their underlying battery architecture.
That distinction is important. Hardge did not simply set out to create another battery cell. He developed an intelligent supporting system intended to help batteries preserve, recover, and use energy more efficiently. The technology later evolved into applications extending beyond electric vehicles to any platform where batteries, electric motors, auxiliary power, and regenerative energy work together.
In 2023, the technology entered a larger automotive-development phase that was proven through independent testing previously reported by Element Materials Technology. Publicly reported testing described material improvements in vehicle range and efficiency, resulting in a U.S. provisional patent application being filed for the architecture.
For Universe, the value is not limited to a single vehicle or product. Universe plans to adapt and further develop the technology across its portfolio, including electric vehicles, phones, tablets, gaming systems, Wi-Fi infrastructure, drones, defense platforms, smart appliances, robotics, maritime systems, and future aerospace technologies. Longer operating time could mean fewer charging interruptions, longer distance or range, greater device mobility, stronger network uptime, improved field readiness, and a lower total energy burden for customers and communities.
Now, Universe intends to combine Hardge's years of invention with its own global infrastructure, manufacturing strategy, and expanding technology ecosystem to advance the platform and take it to markets around the world.
Lawrence Hardge joins Universe Network as Chief Scientist of Battery Technologies, where he will lead the continued advancement of the technology across Universe's expanding portfolio of companies, including Universe Defense, Universe Electronics, Universe EV, Universe Wi-Fi, and future energy initiatives Universe NRG and Universe Battery.
"This is bigger than batteries," said Andre Freeman, Chief Executive Officer of Universe Network Inc. "This is about creating a foundation that can power virtually every technology we build. Lawrence has dedicated years to this innovation, and now we're bringing together the resources, partnerships, and global vision to unlock its full potential."
Hardge added, "Innovation only changes the world when it reaches the world. That's exactly what Universe is built to do."
With this acquisition, Universe continues assembling one of the most ambitious technology portfolios in the industry—connecting advanced energy, electronics, AI, telecommunications, media, defense, aerospace, and smart infrastructure into one unified global ecosystem.
The future doesn't run on yesterday's batteries. It runs on what's next.
